The client specializes in private aircraft charter, aircraft acquisitions, and aircraft management. They also have “Flight for Life” where they manage charter ambulance planes.
Problem Statement
Pushing and pulling data manually between the various systems and applications the client use. Each airplane is its own profit center, and they would like a better way to track each planes flight, maintenance, etc.
The client is looking to get better insights from their data and want to have better and easier reporting capabilities. The main problem is their accounting which is the backwards traveling of transactional data through the parent org GL down to the subsidiaries (each plane is a separate legal entity) where expenses are transferred, and net incomes are calculated, and half of the profits are returned to the parent due to the parent holding the FAA certificate.
